Reading the specification at goods-in<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The registry number is the only unambiguous identifier in the whole consignment. Development codes such as DM-235 circulate in older catalogues and archive files, so the stock card carries both designations and treats them as one position. Where the certificate and the label disagree on the registry number, the parcel is parked in quarantine and the supplier is asked to reconcile the paperwork before any shelf position is assigned. A recalculated molar mass is a cheap secondary check. If the formula printed on the label does not add up to the mass in the catalogue entry, the discrepancy is resolved on paper rather than on the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classification taken from the safety data sheet decides where the container stands.
